bittorrent and routers

I have an elsewhere documented problem where my router reboots sporadically. I thought it was entirely a hardware problem but it turns out that it has to do with the load resultant from using Bittorrent. My router is Zyxel (600 series)and i connect to it wirelessly*. Lately however when I use bittorrent I find that the router reboots every 5 minutes or so but behaves fine when I don't use bittorrent. I read that it is beacuase of the number of NAT entries which the the router can hold (1024). Does anyone know of a way around this so that the number of NAt entries can be increassed or some other solution to the problem.

Have you tried limiting the number of peer connections?

Is your router the Zyxel Prestige 660hw? Apparently it's known to create problems with certain BT clients.

Yes it is the 660hw. I have changed from bittorrent to Azuveus which is workign fantastically! Thanks all!

I use bitlord with the same router without any problems.
