Bit of luxury & absolute reliability for EUR5000

Hello all,

I need to buy myself a car.

I am interested in a little bit of luxury and most importantly reliability.

I have been looking on line and cars that take my fancy are:

2002 approx CAMRY
2002 approx ACCORD

I know both are somewhat old but you can get high spec relatively low mileage examples of each with leather for around the 5000 mark.

You can say what you like about toyota but they are defintely reliable and i cant see too much going wrong with a camry.

I owned that same model Accord for a couple of year and it ran like clockwork.

Does anyone have any other suggestions that might meet my requirements?

It will be hard to find quality, luxury and reliability for 5000.

But you are thinking along the right lines with the Jap cars.

Also consider a Toyota, perhaps an old Avensis?

What about looking for an old, well looked after Lexus IS200. Basically a luxury Toyota and will go on for years if serviced regularly and looked after.
