Bilbao, San Sebastian, Pamplona,Bilbao

Heading to above for a week; in that order.



Probably too much realy but we're only staying in Pamplona for 1 night during the festival (12th) and seem to have got a good deal in a 2 star modern Hotel 5 min away from centre for about 50e each.

Firstly, can anybody recommend accommodation in both San Sebastian and Bilbao (excellent but cheap) and secondly does anyone forsee any problems getting transport between the towns, either via bus or train.

Planning 1 night Bilbao, 4 nights San Seb., 1 night Pamplona, 1 night Bilbao.

Maybe 2 nights in Bilbao (first time) and give it a chance?
 
Sorry, forgot to ask also about bull fights. Whether I agree with them or not but does anyone know if bf's are easy enough to get to see in any of these cities; how expensive are they; when do they have them on.

Have read previous thread on Bilbao and am going to do the Guggenheim
Museum and definately that pub crawl in Bilbao also!
 
Have a look at Parador de Hondarribia San Sebastian, magnificent but pricey. Maybe somewhere to go off season. [broken link removed] have 9 hotels for the San Sebastian area unfortunately all over the €100 for a double per night.

Hadn't really thought about it but just did a quick search now and can see that a bus runs between the two towns.

Also found what seems like a really good hostel (well hopefully) in the centre of San Sebastian.
