hey folkes,
just after getting outbid on a property that went 36k over the made up price that was quoted... it turned into a bidding war over the phone going up in 500euros a go... it was a horrible experience... pretty freaked about losing the house....
sorry just had to get it off me chest

Sorry to hear that PN. It can be a very stressful process. Next time decide in advance how much you are prepared to pay for the house and stick to it. Have you considered buying a new property?

hi sarah,
thanks for your condolances...
we had a price to stick to and thats basically when we stoped bidding. we would love a knew house but alas there doesnt seem to be any 3 bed semi's being built where we are interested in. Most of the properties are duplex's or apartments yet we want a house to stay in for sometime to come. We'll keep looking but alas its not looking to good at the moment for proerties that suit our budget and requirements in D15.

Thanks as always

Hey,

Just hang in there. It's very unpredictable this house market... something will come up and it'll work out fine. It was have been far too easy if it had worked out straight away, you just need to keep going until you strike lucky and just prepare yourself for a few disappointments.... Just try and look more at houses that are advertised for a good 30-40K under your budget, so you have the flexibility to bid along...
