I tried to book a room at newlands cross online with their website. Everything went fine until I entered name address and payment details. The next page said wait for a confirmation. No confirmation/reference number was received. I did not get a confirmation email.

I emailed them immediately and queried this. That was 10 days ago and still no reply.

Anyone have this happen to them? How should I proceed?
 
Try giving them a call to make sure the booking didn't go through on their end and that you were not charged for the privilage of using their site!
 
no e-mail, no reservation.

I had a problem like this one time but it was the browser I was using; I think it was Firefox and it had some problems with secure pages. I reverted (reluctantly) to using Internet Explorer at worked OK. If you're not sure of a booking, ring them at 01-464 0140.....
 
Thanks for your help folks. I was using firefox which seems to have problems with secure pages. I will ring them just to be sure and see what happens.

Seems to be a major problem using firefox to book flights etc. I hope they work something out soon.
