Maybe all banks will charge similar fees for GBP£ to GBP£ transfers between an Irish/EU IBAN account and a UK IBAN account?
Thanks @Towger.They don't. BOI are part of the BACS system, so only change a few cent per transfer. Other banks will use SWIFT, so it is a full international transfer and changed as such.
Even to NI?This is basic stuff the OP and his broker should know. As it is even Euro transfers via SEPA to the UK are subject to extra money laundering requirements, as it is sending money outside the EEA. One of the many joys of Brexit.
Once the IBAN has GB as the country, the senders postal address must (should) be included in the transfer. It is going to be made more stringent from November 2025, by going from a two line address and country code to 14 address fields.
