I'm not sure if I should start a new thread for this, but we bought a Livingsocial voucher for €59 for a 'winter service' which was undertaken today. It turned out to be an assessment of the car, with a report provided telling us we needed new tyres (Doh! we knew that!) and some other minor items (bulb may need replacement, fuel flush recommended, front brake pad might need attention. The assessment costed the replacement tyres and recommended a 'Silver service' with the garage! As the original voucher listed actual jobs which were to be undertaken as part of the voucher sale, and no work was actually carried out (as per the supervisor, who when asked to update our car's log with details of the service work done, said that no service had taken place), I am making a complaint to Livingsocial on this basis. I would like to alert any other potential purchasers of these car 'service' vouchers to be on the alert - I see another one being marketed today from a different supplier. Our supplier is a major outlet on the Long Mile Road.
