Best way to transfer money from Irish bank to UK sterling account

We will need to transfer in the region of €300,000 to my daughter's UK bank account in the next few weeks. We are helping her to purchase a home.

What is the best way to transfer such a large sum of money?
 
I used to use Currencyfair to transfer large sums, however, they seem to have gone a bit haywire in more recent months.
 
I used BOI- they gave me a market rate,it felt safer than using the currency exchange companies
 
I'd go with revolut, once you have premium you actually get the market rate, I've checked real time rates against live prices in bloomberg and they're very very clos

I wouldn't exchange 300k with revolut. I just wouldn't.
