Hello all. Am emigrating to US. Will have approx EUR100K to take with me. What is best way to do it without spending a lt of money on transfer fees etc. Was thinking of opening dollar denominaed account, then posting myself a check in US and lodging check in US. Am worried that Americans will get spooked if i lodge approx $150k. Advice appreciated.
