Best way to send large parcel to Waterford

I'm looking to send a large sports bag full of light weight gear to Waterford. Any recommendations on who would be the cheapest?
 
Driving Dublin to Waterford is way cheaper than posting it. You could do it on a Friday and maybe the person on the receiving side will give you a bed for an overnight or weekend stay - now that's saving money

You used to be able to go to Heuston station and send items on the train. I don't know if that is still possible!
 
i've always found fastway couriers the cheapest when shipping items to dublin from the north.
 
I'd second Fastway for cheapness - reliability a little iffy.

DPD for reliability (but not cost)

As long as it gets there, no real rush on it, sold the guy my motorbike but he couldnt take all the spares so time isnt really an issue..
 
I'd used this company before parcel to Cork, putraventure.com and their service is reliable and relatively cheap..went to their website, no mention abt rates nationwide and i sent email to their info, got a quick reply and the rest was history
