Hi,
I few days back bought a OnePlus Nord 3 5G Dual SIM mobile phone . I am going to return this product as I am quiet dissappointed with its performance. In 10 mins WhatsApp video call it drains more than 10% battery.

Can you please suggest an alternate phone prerferably with the below specs?

Price around 500 euro
5G
Large screen
Slow battery drain
Stock android preferred
Dual SIM

What about OnePlus 12R?

Any suggestions?

I would think any new phone will suffer from poor battery life while it downloads, installs and calibrates apps and usage.

Depending on your level of usage, it might take a few days or even weeks for battery life to settle down.

The Moto(rola) range use close to stock Android with little or no bloatware... their phones start at around half your budget but you get what you pay for I guess. They have 'Power' versions of some models, which come with larger batteries - I had one before and used to get almost 2 days out of it early on but that went down quite a bit over time.

Best phone I've come across is Samsung A53, can be bought brand new in cellophane for eur 230 or thereabout.

Google Pixel is fine, but it is small. I watch lot of youtube and facebook content on my phone. So prefer a large screen phone.

Price around 550 euro
5G
Extra Large screen but thin
Slow battery drain
Stock Android preferred
Dual SIM (Physical and / or eSIM)

I'm a fan of Xiaomi phones - https://www.xiaomi.ie/

Great battery life and camera and a variety of models at different prices.

Heard that these phones have lots of bloatware. Also what about the build quality?

What about Google Pixel 8 Pro? Around 710 euro currently!

Still prefer to get some thing with the below specs. Any thing available?

5G
Extra Large screen but thin
Slow battery drain
Stock Android preferred

Dual SIM (Physical and / or eSIM)

What does 'stock' android and also bloatware mean?

Stock Android is the base-level version of the operating system without customizations, or third-party features.

Bloatware is software that uses up resources without doing anything useful. Many device manufacturers lower their prices by pre-installing this type of software.

After googling I have the below phones shortlisted. Would you recommend any of the below?

Google Pixel 8 PRO
OnePlus 12R
NothingPhone (2)
