Google Maps is sending me through Sligo. Google Maps on the AA site is sending me via M3/Cavan/Enniskillen.

Any advice from knowledgable AAM posters would be welcome. What time would I need to leave to get to Donegal for 10 am?

Since the M3 opened, the Cavan Enniskillen way is best. I don't think Google maps was updated for M3/
From South Dublin there are 3 tolls totalling about €6 if you go via M50, M3.
There is 1 toll €2.40 via Mullingar/Longford

Sligo was always a big longer. Would say the N3 also. Where in South Dublin are you coming from? Takes about 2 hrs 45 mins from Blanchardstown.

I would go up from the airport up the M1 and via Monaghan and it take 2 hrs 45 mins from there also.

Would agree with Gulliver above.

And as his name suggests he will have travelled a lot. ;)

OK, so I'll go with the M3 - now the really important question;

Any good spots for a non-greasy breakfast - maybe around Cavan/Enniskillen? I'm more of a muesli/poached egg guy, than a sausage and rasher guy.
