When a judge was striking off a solicitor he said words to the effect that solicitors were a profession and not a business like bankers. Apologies for not quoting the learned gentleman verbatim
 
I heard it said that the more ambitous ones are in business, thats all.

If that's what he said then he was wrong. If he'd said it about doctors he would also be wrong.
