Iam a civil engineer from england and iam looking to relocate my family to the West of Limerick for work reasons. Adare seems very expensive in contrast to Rathkeale, yet they are so close?
Adare is closer to Limerick city, but it is also considered an exclusive location, there a no social problems, it has a touristic vibe, 2 golf courses etc. Rathkeale is known to bit rough enough and is home to many of the travelling community. An alternative may be Newcastlewest, its 20 mins from adare, good size town, and the house prices are more akin to rathkeale than Adare.
