Quick question guys, Can anyone tell me what is currently the best offer regarding televieion connection,is it NTL or Sky (prices would be great). I've had a look at both websites but remain in the dark over which is better!

I had Chorus (similar to NTL) for years but finally switched to Sky last year just for Sky+ and cannot recommend it enough. Sky+ records two programmes at the one time, you don't have to have your box set to the channel you're recording (which I had to do with Chorus), you can view something that's already on your box while you are taping two programmes, you can pause the programme you're watching and you can press rewind to view the last half hour of the programme that is tuned in if you get disrupted for whatever reason.

How much is the cheapest Sky+ package and does it come in via satellite dish?

It depends on what you want. You pay €15 for the privilage of being able to record with Sky+ but if you don't take two of the movie/sports channels it's free. I have 4 mixes (RTE's, Music, Knowledge + Style) which cost €41 per month. Look out for the different offers they have on. You will often find that they give Sky Movies + Sports for free for 3 or even 6 months which means you don't have to pay your €15 Sky+ subscription then. If you know anyone who has Sky, they might get an offer to introdue a friend and the friend (being you) gets a free Sky+ box, which is how I joined up. Check out their [broken link removed] for further info.
