Best On-line Construction Sites

Greetings,
I am in the process of looking up constuction details for my brother who wouldnt be the best on computers.He is looking for details on 'eyebrow' dormers. While i have found some details the info is pretty scetchy. Could people tell me what they find are the best sites for this kinda thing, is there a comprehensive construction site, or diy site that would be user friendly

interested in this too, i dont like traditional dormers but still need the headheight for conversion
