Best Material for Inside of Fireplace

Hi,

I am considering the use of stone (thinstone) in my fireplace but I am concerened whether it will be sufficiiently heat resistant.

I am installing a Boiler Solid Fuel Stove which will be set into the chimney cavity with a clearance of ~100 mm on the sides and top of the stove. The heat output from the stove is 19kW.

I would prefer not to use marble
