Best Irish bank for a US$ deposit?

Anyone know of Irish banks offering good rates for US$ deposits? I know someone with monies deposited in AIB in $ - they recently cut the interest rate from 5% to 1%. Although now living in Ireland, obviously he doesn't want to convert to Euro at this time.

AIB quoted me around 2.5% the other day for dollar funds.
