as a person new to pensions I have the following employer pension contribution scheme options

Irish life Global Indexed Equity Fund

Bank of Ireland assett Managers Managed

Irish Life Fixed Interest

Does anyone have any input as to which is the best performing or best option?

Thanks

Depends on your attitude to risk. There's a very rough rule of thumb that the amount of risk you're prepared to take is propertional to the potential return you're likely to get. But the higher the risk, the higher the potential for losing money also.

Irish Life Global Indexed Equity Fund - high risk.

Bank of Ireland Asset Managers Managed - medium risk

Irish Life Fixed Interest - low risk

What does the pension scheme consultant advise?
