Best account with high interest

hi,
I am opening a joint bank account with my partner, we will not need the funds in this acount untill we have our house built. we intend to put away maybe 1k a month into this account. We want something with good interest rate as the money wont be touched for at least 18months.


any suggestions would be grateful

See the Financial Best Buys lists of deposit accounts/rates on offer and the info on www.itsyourmoney.ie. This question seems to be asked about a half dozen times a week if not more, so there are innumerable threads answering it already.
