What else, besides P45, does a person need to give to a new employer in order to avoid emergency tax? It used to be that the new payroll department used the cumulative figures from P45 and continued taxation. Has this changed?

No change.

New employer will order tax credit cert from Revenue and go from there.

If tax credit cert has not been received but employer has P45, will emergency tax be charged.

ET will not apply.

Temporary basis will apply which is the same as week one.
