Theres a big furore about what Bertie said and nothing much being mentioned about Bertie not answering the original question.
What was he on about when saying 'failed idealogies' anyway? Did Bertie not claim he was left of centre not so long ago and that he was in actual fact a socialist?
He also said on a show somewhere before that if Politics was like football and he could make a transfer that he'd have Joe Higgins without doubt. He didnt even take time to mull over it. He came straight out with Joe Higgins as his answer.
