Benefits - What am i entitled to??

Ive always worked and never needed any government financial aid but things have changed and im finding it difficult to get by. Can anybody tell me what benefits, if any i am entitled to?

Ill try and give as much relevant information about myself as possible:

24 Single male
Full time student
Work about 25 hours per week
Living in shared rented accommodation (My rent is €450 per month)

Thats about all i can think of adding. If theres any more information that will help, please ask!

You will not be entitled to any social welfare payment as you are a full-time student, as you will not be considered available for and seeking full time work (which is a requirement of Jobseekers). There is also a disqualification from rent supplement if you are a full time student.

Depending on the course you're doing you may be able to get a maintenance grant and help with fees

We all struggled when we were in college! (pre Celtic tiger). A real treat was being able to buy a few extra vegetables in the supermarket. Keep your chin up. It will be worth it.

PS I presume you've applied for the grant and claimed all tax reliefs available.
