Beneficiary solicitor query

A beneficiary has raised a matter via their solicitor to the estate solicitor for their deceased dad .. This matter has nothing directly to do with probate/will and the other 8 beneficiaries are keen not to put unnecessary expense on the estate solicitor by replying to such queries. This beneficary has been a nightmare from the word go.

The executor discussed this matter raised with the estate solicitor, and the executor opted to reply directly to the solicitor of this beneficiary. The estate solicitor was happy to agree to this request.

However when the executor replied directly to the solicitor of this beneficiary on the matter the reply was declined and the executor was sternly told via email that as solicitor of the beneficiary she was only going to communicate with the estate solicitor.

The executor isn't happy but can he insist on the solicitor of the beneficiary to accept the reply from him. The estate solicitor is on holiday now for a week so all opinions are appreciated. Thank you

If its nothing to do with probate or the settlement of the estate, ignore it.

Beneficiaries have no entitlements here.

Thank you. It's the arrogance of this beneficiary really to bring a matter up that's not to do with the estate directly and then to instruct that they'll only allow the estate solicitor to respond..
