Benchmark document for new gas boiler

Hi all,
I just got a new condensor boiler (Bosch) installed yesterday and the job was well done. However the installation engineer (RGII registered) did not complete the benchmark document for me (I only noticed this later)

Do I need to get this document filled out and is it important?

Also, the gas feed pipe to the boiler needed to be bigger so he installed a new pipe but it runs up the wall in the utility room and is exposed. Is this against the building regs as I though it should have been boxed off or put behind a stud wall?

A bench mark book is for UK installations and surface run gas pipes are fine, it's good that you had a installer who sized the gas pipe right as most don't, Gary.
