Will be staying close to the Botanic gardens and looking for recommendations of not pricey, family friendly places to eat.

Also - anyone know of swimming pools in Belfast - again not too pricey but fun for kids? Googled but got two that have very restrictive public hours.

Tks!!!

we've had lunch in the past with our 3 year old in the Holiday Inn on the Ormeau Road and found it grand, big plate of pasta for the smallie and delicious steak sandwiches

She loved the w5 centre in the Odyessy arena as well, well worth it if the kids are 3-5 year olds, doesn't have a pool but could be good for a rainy day

There are several international/British family-friendly chains in the Victoria Square centre, including TGI Fridays and Nandos.

W5 is an excellent option for kids of all ages.

Lisburn lesuire centre has a great pool as well as slides etc bit of a water park really. Only ten mile out the road but really is excellent

Tks everyone.

W5 is the main point on the agenda - spent a full day there last year and still the kids asked to go back the next day!

Tks for Lisburn pool idea - looks very good and have decent family rate (kids under 5 FREE!).

Will check out victoria square. ALso tks for Holiday Inn nod too.

Many thanks everyone!
