my machine is not starting its cycle due to water not entering , ive checked all the pipes cleaned filters its a beko wma520w, its just over a year old and in great shape . any one have any ideas

I had the same problem with a washing machine the timer on the dial had gone. Would have cost more to get it fixed

was thinking that , i rang a man to have a look at it but he wasnt interested. thanks !!!

Depending on what type of water supply you have may cause dirt to have got into the system. Might need a complete new filter system.

ive checked all of it , water works fine until reaches machine , maybe your right probally blocked at point of entry . thanks ...

Galway, not an uncommon fault on washing machines.

Hopefully just a stuck/broken inlet solenoid valve.

Check if voltage is being supplied to inlet valve when machine is calling for water, if it is then your problem is the valve itself, if not then may be a faulty programmer (costly, but can be bought on the net for a reasonable price) or a dis/bad connection in wiring. Could also be a stuck/faulty water level switch.

Does the machine continue on its cycle even though no water has entered?

NB: Only carry out the above tests if you are competent to do so!!

hey thanks for all the posts. i managed to get the water in took all hoses off cleaned an the odd kick. then iy wouldnt enter the cycle
so i bought a new one wasnt worth the headache thanks again
