Being made redundant 31 Jan 2010 - address query for SW

Hi All. New to this forum. Bad start to 2010, being made redundant from job after almost 8 yrs. Need to apply for Jobseekers Benefit after Jan 31. Looked at on-line form UP1. Query relates to what address I should use, revenue uses old address in another location (old home address in another county), payslips etc. also in this address. Cohabiting with partner who is self employed in another location - no claim to this address (no payment of utilities etc.). What address should I put down? Really appreciate any guidance.
 
It's best to use the address at which you are currently living. If you don't have anything 'official' with your name and that address on it (utility bills, bank statements, etc) your partner can write a letter stating that you live at that address, and provide proof of the address in their name.
 
JB won't be assessed on her income anyhow as it's earned rather than means tested (JA is means tested), so there's no downside to being honest.
