My elderly mother was left short changed in her local shop over the weekend. She did not check her change at the time but noticed when she got home that they left her short of twenty euro.
They did not issue her with a receipt so it is difficult to prove she purchased items at their store.
The shop have since refused to accept that the error was on their part.
Its not a large sum of money but still enough to buy basic groceries. Has she any comeback?
