Becomming a Solicitor

I have recently looked into becomming a solicitor. if anyone has looked into it recently or has just completed the exams and could advise me what im getting myself in for i would be delighted for any help.

Thanks sherman, im not sure what to do yet.i dont think that i have the necessary willpower to go the whole way with this. i was going to do 4 adn 4 and try and work but maybe it would be best(if possible) to do all 8 and study / get grinds for the 8/9months before it. have you completed the exams yourself?
