i`ll be renting out my house in the next few weeks (possible months). i want to get the proceedure right from the beginning. i know i have to register for PRTB Etc. what happens on the tax side of things? will i be paying more tax? can i benefit from rented accomodation? Im on the A2 tax bracket. Will this change? would posters advise on accepting rent allowance?
Im not even sure of the right Q`s to be asking. So when replying please type slowly and in English please :eek:

Was reading a post earlier about a LL who is trying to get his tenants out. i dont really want to get caught in any shape or form including non correct payment of tax etc...

Advise appreciated...
 
One or all of the three might be able to help. An accountant with tax expertise in this area would also be a good bet.
