hello
with the beeb planning to broadcst the worldcup
in hd,i was wondering is there a way to get this?

I have a hd ready tv but i dont want to pay sky the extra
15 euro subscription.

i would be willing to buy a hd decoder but i dont know if
anyone other than sky is making them.

with the beeb showing the footy for free in hd
this would be worth getting.
any help would be appreciated.

i heard itv may be broadcasting in hd
for the worldcup
any chance of receiving that signal?
 
There's no way you'll be able to receive BBC or ITV in HD with your existing $ky tuner.

You'll either have to subscribe to $ky's HD service and use their tuner or you'll have to get a FTA (Free-To-Air) HD tuner. These are not generally available at present.
