Bathroom Fittings

I priced a set of bathroom fittings in Woodies and Homebase at the weekend. For the bits that I need (wall mounted mirror, glass shelf, Towel rail, toilet roll holder and toothbrush holder), I am looking at having to pay just over €220. I have to say I was v surprised at how expensive these fittings are. Am I being unrealistic or can I source cheaper elsewhere?

Cheap bathroom fittings won't last- the chrome plate will quickly tarnish and corrode in the moist environment of the bathroom. You really are better off paying for quality....

Have to agree, you can buy cheaper (ARGOS for example), but they tend not to last. Unless you plan to re-decorate your bathroom every couple of years, it's best to purchase something which will last.
