Bath Street, Irishtown

Hello all,

Just looking at a house on Bath Street, Irishtown ... Concerns are that it's off the fairly busy Irishtown Road; is near The Beach Tavern; is across from a pretty large corporation flat complex ... and is historically a roughish area.

I'd be so grateful of any info/ tips on these points.

You seem to be the one with all the info.
"Historically" Irishtown changed in the nineties.
That was when all the dinkies/yuppies moved into it.
They can be a rough crowd if the penne al'arrabiata is off.

is the beach tavern the vintage?? WTF is worng with it?? grand pub......irishtown full of yuppies!!

Beach Tavern is Gleesons or the back shop. Irishtown is grand the road is fairly busy though if you've kids.Great location.

Busy road but great location. The back shop has a reputation for being a bit rough but the Vintage is a nice pub. I drink in it myself when I'm down that way.
Remember you are only 5 minutes away from Sandymount Green and strand.
Also within walking distance to O2, Landsdowne, city centre, even RDS is not too far away.
