A friend of mine recently applied for a barring order against two of her children.

She and both children live in the same house, and issues arising in the case are Physical and Mental.

I was wondering if anyone could throw some light on this subject.
 
Crumdum, what is your actual question, is it how does the barring order process work?


Very sad that a parent has to be subjected to such abuse by her adult children. I presume they are adult children. She needs to watch out that she is not in any danger by going down this route, this kind of think can set people off. Also pressure will be brought to bear on her by them promising the sun moon and stars in relation to future behaviour in an effort to stop her doing this. She needs to be strong minded.
 
Apologies for confusion

My question is, what are likely outcomes to this case, as there is a court appearance, and a Garda who was involved in disturbance will be attending.

My friend has not seen a solicitor, and was wondering if anyone has knowledge / experience on this specific issue
