My cousin is not in arrears with her mortgage but has asked her bank for a review as she is feeling the pinch and generally living hand to mouth.
She has recently met a partner within the last 10 months. He doesn't live with her on a permanent basis but does stay over; he has his own home.
When she submitted bank statements, the bank commented on payments other than her salary going into her account (not very regularly, just every so often). She explained these payments where merely from her partner who would every so often as a gesture give her money to pay a utility bill etc.
The banker has now requested that she ask her partner to submit a copy of his bank accounts. He has obviously refused to do this.
Just wondering what she should do next?
