Hey there,

I am considering switching my investment mortgage to Bof Scotland.

Their webiste for Ireland is limited and information is tough to come by.

They are offering a decent rate but they have said that I can only switch my investment mortgage if both people are earning over 80K combined (this has nothing to do with the amount borrowed its the min qulaifier of being a "high earner")

OR if you dont earn that combined then only

If I switch another mortgage aswell as my investment?

I find the sales pitch a little odd. Are they a good bank? Any bad experiences. The investment place is only at a set of offices on Parnell and not through the Halifax branches (same company).

Any feedback would be great thanks.

[broken link removed] are also . There may be more info on the Halifax website.

I would not be pleased with them for investment properties. I found their fees for doing the mortgage (legal & Arrangement) unbelieveable and their rates are not usually that great. I have a UK mortgage with them and they may be better for Ireland but i wouldnt touch them again with a barge pole.
