I attempted to request money via the Revolut app from my BoI account a few times this morning but no payment approval request is appearing in my BofI app. Is anyone else having issues with BofI payment approval today?
in the app - check in "services" then "manage security devices" and check your phone is in the list and the correct one is listed as primary etc. I have found recently that the approvals no longer alert me on my phone, but when i know i need to approve something, i load the app and select the "waiting for your appoval" option below the sigin section to approve the transactions.
I pinged them on twitter and the suggestion was to remove any additional devices I had from my profile. As I had recently changed phones, my old device was still listed on there. I removed that and hey presto it all worked. It has been working for weeks with both devices there so I just don't get why it was suddenly an issue but that sorted it!
