Bank holidays and 3 day weeks

Hi,

I have been put on a three day week recently. What are the bank holiday entitlements for someone on a three day week? Do you do 2 days on the weeks that have bank holidays or get paid for a bank holiday or just work a different day that is not a bank holiday.

Bank holidays are paid, meaning you will only work 2 days for the week in question, getting 3 days pay.

If the bank holiday falls on a day you normally work.. in the case of this week, Wednesday, well then you will get paid in full or have a day in lieu.

If you do not work on Wednesday you will get 3/5 ths of the day entitlement or (one fifth of your weekly pay) extra.

All depends too though on hours accrued in the previous working weeks.
