Bank Fees? Eur to Eur transfer

Anyone know if there are bank fees when transferring money from Ireland to France? I am going to be transferring 30K from my Irish bank account to a French post office account ( LA BANQUE POSTALE ) and the recipient is saying that they will incur fees that I need to cover. Any idea if this is true and how much the fees would be?

Who do you bank with in Ireland?

All Irish banks change the same for standard online Euro transactions anywhere in the EU (SEPA zone) which normally means the transaction is free.

It is rare that a bank charges for incoming transactions. If they do, then that is something the other party will have to pay themselves with their bank fees.
