Bank Charges & Fees

I am wondering does anyone have an idea of the range of bank charges and fees between the different banks?
In these times it is inevitable that banks will look to try and skin the cat in any way possible.
I am wonderign how to avoid getting skinned!!

unless you are a business customer you should get yourself an account where you don't pay fees at all. I'm with PTSB and haven't paid bank fees or charges (other than the govt duty on cheq book and credit/debit card charge) for any banking for years. That includes standing orders, direct debits, ATMs (even non PTSB ones).
