Bank account details

Hi,
i gave tennant my bank account number along with my name and address in order for her to set up a direct debit to pay rent.These were on the same piece of paper.She has asked me to send them to her again as she has mislaid the piece of paper.My concern is could my account be at risk if the details were to end up in the wrong hands?

Isn't this the case whenever you give anybody a personal cheque?
