Banister query

Hi,
I'm wondering if anybody knows any suppliers of the chrome banisters with glass which are very popular with new groovy shops. Has anybody out there installed them in their house??

Not sure who would supply these but they aren't really child friendly just think of all those lovely grubby fingerprints all over the glass ho ho nice

You wont really be able to buy this stuff off the shelf, it has to be designed and made to order, the glass is toughened for safety and must be ordered specially for a project. However if you wish to go down this expensive route you could do a lot worse than checking out www.stapletoneng.com, they are based in Kilkenny, do good work and have a high profile client list. This stuff costs big bucks though. Previous poster had a very valid comment about kids and glass though!
