Does anyone know if you can stop the water pipes in the attic from banging and clanging every time we flush the toilet or run a tap. We are demented. We have now an agreement at home that if anyone gets up for the toilet at night they don't flush because the noise is so bad it wakes everyone up. What causes this and how can I stop it.
