I may require 35 large bamboo plants for screening purposes, need to be at least 2 meters now and capable of growing up to 4 meters. Any advice where to purchase for best price, quality and advice.

Bamboo is notorious for spreading. I had some mature bamboo planted in June and have spotted numerous new sprouts popping up from the ground. I used Tullys Landscapers. Happy with price, delighted with the service.

4. Recommendations:
1. Use Bamboo that Clump ONLY. (it still spreads)
2. Keep Bamboo out of your garden.
3. See No. 2.

(I used Bamboo and after catching it invading 2 neighbours gardens (including going through a shed and removing it from their gardens, and
then digging it out of my own garden with a small digger 3 years ago,
I removed the "last" piece last month - I hope)

4. Don't do it.................it can go through cracks in concrete.......its practically unstoppable

As other posters have said, bamboo is a nightmare. Do not use it, find an alternative.
