Ballykissangel site

In one of the last episodes of Ballykissangel Assumpta brought the priest to one of the most amzing locations I have ever seen (to declare her love!) ... just wondering has anyone got an idea where the location was - I have a feeling it was somewhere in Donegal, even though the prog was shot down south.

If you mean the beach site, it was shot in Lugala in Wicklow, the Guinness estate. The beach is white, the lake is peaty brown. Designed to look like a pint when viewed from the mountain above. It's private, though. You can only look down on it from the road.

I always wondered - is that a man made beach or is it natural?

Manmade, is my understanding. They imported white sand.

I think its Lough Tay on the Roundwood to Sally gap road in Wicklow mountains (Sorry boys who would know where lug whatever is).
