Ballybrittas, Co.Laois

Well , if you can travel fifty miles on the N7 at peak time in an hour and avoid penalty points, sorry, but as a commuter for years, I am just not able to do it.

Well according to the AA route finder Ballybrittas, Laois - Drimnagh, Dublin is 55 minutes. The speed limit on the M7 is 120kmph, it is 40 - 45 minutes to the Redcow. Do you still do the comute, because if you do you must drive at under 100kmph.

I still commute and there is no way I could it

Well you must be driving from another place or at a very slow speed. From Ballybrittas, Co. Laois - Newlands Cross, Co. Dublin 60km, The speed limit is 120km on the M7 & 100km on the Naas dual carriagway. If the OP is commuting to Dublin she should take account of the norm not the expection (you).

I've no doubt the OP will make up her own mind based on her/his own driving speeds and not on any 'norm' .
