Hi folks,

Hoping someone can help with getting an idea of cost for a bathroom refurb. Basically, my wife and I looking at buying a house and the lead contender has one layout issue that we'd like to understand that cost of changing.

Basically, upstairs there are 4 rooms in a row laid out as such:

1. "Shower room" (without toilet) 2m x 2m
2. Toilet 2m x 1m
3. Bathroom (without toilet) 2m x 2m
4. Toilet 2m X 1m

Each room has it's own door access to the hall.

Would anyone think it would be possible to give a very high level idea for what it would cost to turn Room 1 & 2 into Bathroom A and Room 3 & 4 into an ensuite (Room 4 is next to the Master bedroom).

Guessing, I'd assume an average of 6k per room for tiling, fixtures, etc but have no idea of the construction costs (removal of 2 internal walls and we would want to remove 3 of the 4 doors).

Thanks in advance for your help and let me know if I can give any more details. Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere.

Are any of the walls you're looking to take out load bearing? That will have a significant impact on the costs.

Hi Leo. No I don't believe they are. (but would be good to know the difference in cost if they were)
