Bad credit and no bank account :(

Hi Folks


I have searched the forum for details on this and found threads which were old enough.

Basically I'm looking for a bank account. I have bad credit. I don't want any bells or whistles, just a standard account with no credit facilities.

Does such a thing exist?

I would think that any bank will give you a standard current account with no overdraft? Which banks have you tried?
Otherwise, my credit union can do pretty much everything a bank can. Maybe your local credit union can help?
