Hi,

I am in the unfortunate position where I have to restore my laptop, and probably in the long term replace it. It is windows xp, using outlook express. Can someone advise what is the easiest way for me to backup my poersonal data, i.e my email settings (three accounts) and my internet favourites.

Regards,

For emai goto accounts > Export & save to location
For IE select add to favourites > import /export

Thanks,
on the email, does that actually backup all my emails ?

For IE, I cold not find the export or import fuinction on add to favourites. Sorry if I'm missing the obvious

jsut did the i.e bit, its under the file menu!! Thanks. If you could just let me know if I have backed up the actual emails in outlook express that would be great.
THanks,
Wexfordman

Sorry... I'm using IE7.
On the email that only backs up your accounts
To back up messages goto
tools>options>advanced>Maintenance> store folder
That shows the location of your messages..
Just copy & paste that
